You will grow the following skills and abilities:
- To learn industrial screen print and embroidery machine operation, the product staging process, and to perform "quality control".
- To interact and use production computer systems and automated processes.
- To read and interpret documents such as safety rules, sales orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- To organize, prioritize, and handle a multi-task workload.
- To be an engaged and dependable team player.
- To work and interact within a "repetitive flow", "lean management" and "5S methodology", the foundation for manufacturing and warehouse organizational success.
Physical Requirements:
- The position will require walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing product on concrete surfaces.
- The position is in a climate-controlled warehouse.
- Candidates must be able to stand for prolonged periods, walk, bend, stoop, reach and lift/carry up to 30 pounds.
- Energy and flexibility of movement is essential.
Previous textile machine or manufacturing experience is not required.
Starting at $13.50/hour.
Pay increase following 30-day evaluation period.
Full-time, 8-hour day shift, Mon-Fri 6:30am - 3:00pm.
