Frequently Asked Questions

The Basics

  1. I placed an order. Now what?

    We’re on it! You’ll receive a confirmation email that includes your order number and contact information for your Brand RPM rep., and we’ll get your order moving right away. Once we’ve reviewed the order and artwork and set the production schedule, we’ll email you a proof of your logo to approve or request adjustments. Once you’re happy with how it looks, your approval starts production of your order.

  2. Do I have to pay sales tax?

    Possibly – it depends on which state you live in. Be sure to contact BrandRPM if you have specific questions. If you are a reseller with state sales and use tax account, be sure to supply the required documentation to your rep after your order initial has been placed. We can update your tax settings for future orders.

Artwork

  1. What kind of artwork can I use?

    We'll work with whatever you've got! If you can, the best image types are JPEG, PDF, EPS or AI. If you have a DST embroidery file, upload it along with your thread colors.

  2. Can I order apparel without embroidery?

    Our retail brands require all items to be embellished (branded).

  3. Logos & Trademarks

    By uploading artwork, you are affirming that  you have the right and authority to use and distribute that artwork. Brand RPM adheres to guidelines that restrict use of certain retail brands, and orders that violate these guidelines may be cancelled. Contact your Brand RPM rep if you have  questions about your artwork.

  4. Can I specify specific colors?

    Yes. It's your brand, after all! You can put your PMS colors in the comments section of your order, or talk through it with your Brand RPM rep. Just keep in mind that an exact match isn't alwayss possible, but we'll get our thread colors as close as we can!

  5. What's the charge for embroidery?

    Embroidery is free--for one logo, up to 10,000 stitches. This is usually more than enough for most logos. If your logo is bigger than this, or you want more than one logo, we can either get you a quote prior to your order, or notify you of any extra charges once you order has been placed.

  6. Will you keep my art on file?

    Yes-- you only need to upload it once, and it will be there to use for as many orders as you need.

  7. What about screen printing?

    We do screen print, and certain items actually work better with screening instead of embroidery. If you have questions about this, feel free to contact us.

Shipping/Delivery

  1. How long will it take to get my order?

    When you place your order, you'll see an estimate on the  page. Generally, the entire process takes 12-15 business days from the time you order to the time your finished items leave our facility. Shipping options are up to you.

  2. What about shipping options?

    We offer standard shipping, plus expeditedoptions for 3-day, 2-day and overnight.

  3. Can my order be rushed?

    In most cases, yes. Contact your Brand  RPM rep if you need something rushed to you.

  4. What are the international options?

    We do ship internationally, and also offer expedited international shipping. Contact us if you need this service.

  5. Can I use my own shipping account?

    Absolutely. Just let your Brand RPM rep know.

Samples

  1. Can I order samples?

    Contact us if you need to see samples before ordering. Un-embellished samples that are not used in an order can be returned (unused and undamaged) at no additional cost to you. Large or unique sample orders may incur a 15% restocking fee.

Payment

  1. What payment types can I use?

    All major credit and debit cards are accepted.

  2. When will my card be charged?

    We'll authorize the charge when you place your order, and the charge will go through when your order  is confirmed, prioir to entering production.

  3. Are Net 30 terms available?

    Yes, for orders of $500 or more. Contact us prior to ordering if you'd like to talk about Net 30 payments.

Returns

  1. What if I'm unhappy with my order?

    If there's a material issue, such as a defect in an item or a problem with the embroidery or screening, contact your Brand RPM rep right away and we'll work with you to make s ure you're satisfied with your order. 

    Embellished items cannot be returned unless there is a defect. Non-embellished items can be returned for a refund, minus the original cost of shipping. Returns must be initiated  within 30 days, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  2. Can I change (or cancel) my order

    Orders can be modified or cancelled before they go into production. Changes or Cancellations are not available once production starts, as your items will have been customized after this point. If you need to make any changes to your order, contact your Brand RPM rep right away.
