May is National Mental Health Awareness Month. Millions of Americans are dealing with some type of mental disorder. We need to help them by reminding them that they aren't alone and encourage them to get help if needed. Citizens and businesses should also think about donating money to organizations and local charities to support mental health awareness. These organizations include National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) , and Mental Health America. Businesses should consider collaborating with charities for fundraising events.
