During March, many people gather around their TVs or computer screens to watch the NCAA Basketball Tournament, affectionately nicknamed "March Madness." Some people even take the initiative to throw a party to watch the games and cheer for their favorite teams. From fun apparel to tasty foods, having terrific items for March Madness parties can make your party a memorable event.
Basketball fans will want to show off their team spirit by wearing clothes featuring their favorite teams. People can attend parties wearing basketball jerseys, t-shirts and hoodies, such as Nike's Duke Blue Devils Basketball Icon hoodie.
Party guests might also wear accessories to add some flair. Wear baseball caps with the March Madness logo on them or for a more unique headwear, a visor with a mini basketball hoop attached to the front of the brim. Party hosts will find many great decorations to display around the house. Hang March Madness banners in the living room and tie basketball-shaped balloons onto chairs and lampposts. Serve basketball-shaped cupcakes and oranges with chocolate icing to look like a basketball. Hosts might use basketball-themed food trays or paper plates to serve the food.
For drinks, consider sports drinks or basketball-themed mocktails such as Full Court Press. You might store bottled water and soda cans in an ice bucket with a college team logo displayed on it.
